Adding
Content in Macromedia Dreamweaver
Assuming you
know the bare basics of Dreamweaver, create a layer (select insert,
select layer) and then perfom the following:
Step 1: Place
Cursor in Layer
Once your layer
is placed where you wish, and sized you are ready to start adding
content. You can move your layer after the content has been added,
but it is often easiest to see the document's overall image evolve
as you work on it. Click your cursor inside the layer to prepare
to add content.
Step 2: Type
in Text
Essentially,
just start typing. Layers can contain all of the same text and formatting
that any other part of the HTML document can take. You can adjust
your typefaces, colors, font sizes, font styles, add images, and
configure background images and colors. Any adjustments you would
make to your text in the document body, you can make to your text
inside of a layer.
