After
downloading a font from the web or saving a font file someone
has sent you to your pc many people ask me "How do
i use a new font in MS Word or another application?".
Installing
a font file in XP is easy to do, below are the basic steps to
install your font. Once the font is installed be sure to close
your application (Such as MS Word) and then re-open it to see
the new font on your list of font options.
STEPS:
1.
From the 'Start' menu select 'Control Panel', then select the
'Appearance and Themes' category.
2. Select
'Fonts' from the 'See Also' panel at the left of this screen.
3. On the
'File' menu, select 'Install New Font...'
4. Click
the drive and folder that contain the fonts you want to add.
5. To select
more than one font to add, press and hold down the CTRL key, click
the fonts you want, then click on 'OK'.
